About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct studies and process technical data to support the development of highway pavement projects across Motiva Rodovias’ operating units
- Work alongside the technical team to analyze design alternatives
- Support rehabilitation design and pavement rehabilitation calculations
- Prepare five-year investment plans
- Apply performance models while considering budget constraints and contractual requirements
- Contribute to improving technical solutions through the adoption of innovations and sustainable practices
- Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with specialists to develop scenarios and proposals
- Operate in compliance with Grupo Motiva’s compliance and anti-bribery system
- Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, environmental, and asset management standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in highway pavement design projects
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings, identify deviations, and validate changes with designers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with the ability to prepare technical reports, schedules, and management presentations
- Valid Class B driver’s license
- Availability to travel
- Knowledge of technical pavement standards, methods, and design specifications
- Coursework or training in the design of flexible and rigid pavements
- Graduate degree and/or specialization in highway infrastructure, with a focus on pavements
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Pavement Management Systems
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence systems for application in engineering activities
