About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development of large language model-driven machine learning solutions
Work across the complete machine learning lifecycle, including data curation, model training, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback
Apply machine learning expertise to public safety applications such as 911 call handling, dispatch, and case management, as well as enterprise applications
Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to build scalable machine learning products
Create reusable components supporting integration between research teams and production engineering
Bridge AI research and production engineering to build reliable ML systems
Guide development and deployment of LLM machine learning solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of machine learning experience
2+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams
8+ years of combined experience as a machine learning researcher and/or a post-graduate degree in a quantitative science or engineering
Previous experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market
Previous experience managing cloud-based software engineering
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Experience developing software for public safety or enterprise is desired
Experience managing engineers and researchers, and working horizontally with UI/UX and product management is desired
Experience incorporating UX guidance in LLM-driven design patterns, test patterns and training methodologies is desired
Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and best practices is desired
