About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead large projects or portions of complex projects
Implement communication system projects as the project leader and focal point
Deliver contractual scope on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction
Use project management tools including schedules, critical path analysis, budgets, change orders, risk assessments, and action item logs
Analyze complex project issues and develop resolutions
Allocate resources to meet project, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives
Communicate directly with customers and internal senior stakeholders through project reviews
Manage the overall financial health of projects
Oversee development of complete project plans
Establish, track, and audit project budgets; analyze variances and develop action plans
Manage quality, cost, and time constraints
Represent the organization on projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of project/program management or similar business experience OR 5+ years of project/program management or similar business experience
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
Experience with at least one of: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, Logistics, Telecommunications, or IT Networks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems
PM Masters Certificate a plus
PMP highly desired; PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives
Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
25–50% travel required
