About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Device Accessories category plan end to end across demand, supply and inventory health
  • Own NPD demand planning for iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung S-series and foldable device launches
  • Build initial launch forecasts, assumptions, IOQs and downside/mid/upside scenario-based cash exposure for leadership sign-off
  • Own initial launch allocations, weekly allocation top-ups and Amazon restocks
  • Track launch performance by range, colour and channel and make re-order or no-re-order decisions
  • Own monthly forecasts for existing SKUs, quarterly corrections against actuals, and accessories and wireless charger forecasts
  • Own re-ordering for existing SKUs against supplier MOQs and manage order approval
  • Run weekly overstock checks, identify root causes and partner with Commercial on pricing and discounting to clear excess and obsolete stock
  • Manage weekly allocations, hub-to-warehouse, Amazon and inter-warehouse stock transfers
  • Coordinate retail planning, including NPD forecasts, IOQs, allocations, re-orders and web-versus-retail stock priority rules
  • Own Availability, Forecast Accuracy (WAPE/bias) and E&O KPIs and embed the monthly S&OP cycle
  • Drive SKU portfolio productivity by simplifying the range and reducing low-MOQ complexity
  • Coordinate with Commercial, Marketplaces, Pricing, Product, Retail, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Data and Senior Leadership
  • Line manage, coach and develop one Demand Planner
  • Report to the S&OP Manager in China and represent the category to the Senior Leadership Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8 years’ experience in demand planning, category planning or S&OP for a fast-moving, high-SKU category, including proven ownership of a monthly cycle end to end
  • New product launch forecasting tied to an external launch date, including scenario-based downside, mid and upside initial forecasts and IOQs before sales history exists
  • Advanced Excel capability across large datasets of 1,000+ SKUs, multiple warehouses and channels
  • Ability to quantify availability versus E&O trade-offs in units, cash and margin (CM2/CM3) and present them to senior stakeholders
  • Working understanding of production and supply constraints, including MOQ, lead times, capacity, air versus sea freight, and warehouse / 3PL / Amazon FBA stock flows
  • Experience allocating and transferring stock across regions and channels, including D2C web, Amazon and retail partners
  • Experience managing, coaching or mentoring a junior planner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or similar is preferred
  • Experience in consumer electronics, mobile / phone accessories or another category driven by third-party launch calendars is nice to have
  • Exposure to Amazon marketplace planning, retail or wholesale forecasting alongside D2C, and tech, D2C, CPG or FMCG product environments is nice to have
  • Hands-on Power BI or equivalent capability is nice to have
  • SQL or data modelling exposure is nice to have
  • Supply chain or planning certifications, such as APICS/CPIM or CIPS, or Excel and data analysis credentials are nice to have
  • Must work across UK, Pakistan and China teams with cultural awareness and collaboration
  • Normal working hours are 10am–7pm PKT
