About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join a Conveyancing team following a comprehensive training programme
  • Manage a caseload aligned to experience, covering freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Handle New Build and Shared Ownership files if more experienced
  • Process property sales and purchases from instruction through completion
  • Liaise with mortgage brokers, estate agents, solicitors, clients and other parties
  • Communicate proactively with clients and third parties and provide regular progress updates
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, introducers and third parties
  • Identify potential risks and resolve issues without exposing the client or business to risk
  • Maintain allocated files in good order in compliance with SLAs and regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Prepare and issue contract papers for related sales
  • Deal thoroughly with sale enquiries
  • Analyse search results
  • Target matters for exchange and completion at the start of each month in line with KPIs
  • Liaise with mortgage lenders regarding drawing down client funds
  • Handle exchange of contracts and legal completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing your own conveyancing caseload
  • Passion for delivering excellent client service
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experienced conveyancing professionals confident with technology and open to progressive ways of working
  • DBS checks required
  • Financial background checks required
