About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diagnose and fix WebGL bugs in Gecko using C++/Rust, including security bugs
- Write tests, work through code review with graphics module owners, and land fixes, with uplifts where needed
- Keep the ongoing WebGL bug queue under control
- Deliver reviewed WebGL fixes and new code landed with tests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong C++ (Rust a plus)
- Graphics / GPU experience, ideally WebGL
- Security mindset and comfort with sandbox and IPC architectures
- Strong debugging in a multithreaded codebase
- Prior browser-engine / Gecko experience preferred
- Security research or fuzzing experience preferred
