About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the AI Automation Hub backlog, prioritisation and delivery rhythm
- Turn potential AI applications into a clear, sequenced programme of work
- Frame experiments with sharp hypotheses and define success criteria with the Lead Decision & AI Scientist
- Determine when an AI evaluation is needed
- Partner with the Lead AI Automation Engineer to move ideas from prototype to production
- Coach teams across MPB through the Innovation Framework to identify, scope and test responsible AI use cases
- Recommend whether initiatives should be stopped, expanded or handed off
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
- Use working prototypes, evaluated demos and data to build stakeholder confidence
- Collaborate with the Lead AI Automation Engineer and Lead Decision & AI Scientist in a small, autonomous, deliberately lead-less hub
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on product management experience
- Real depth in AI and/or data-driven products
- Practical grasp of LLMs, agentic patterns, RAG and automation tools such as n8n or Zapier
- Experience running AI Evals or similar quality frameworks for non-deterministic systems
- Hypothesis-driven mindset with tight scoping and honest evaluation
- Confidence with Jira, Figma, FigJam and generative prototyping tools such as Figma Make or Lovable
- Trusted-advisor communication skills with executives and functional teams
- Comfort working in a self-directed squad without a traditional lead
- Nice to have: experience in marketplace, e-commerce or circular commerce
- Nice to have: experience in or alongside a Centre of Excellence or internal innovation team
- Nice to have: exposure to conversational UI design and evaluation
