About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and manage projects for a federal government client
  • Lead project management activities, including planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, dependencies, and status reporting
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with clients
  • Coordinate steering committees, working groups, stakeholder coordination, meeting support, facilitation, briefing materials, decision and action tracking, executive communications, and governance support
  • Manage cross-functional teams of analysts, subject matter experts, and technical consultants
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, briefings, and meeting minutes
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Lead requirements planning, stakeholder discovery, requirements development and analysis, and current-state and gap assessments
  • Prioritize and plan business, operational, technical, and functional requirements
  • Gather and analyze project data, including schedule and resource allocation
  • Provide strategic and technical advisory services related to AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, process redesign, and organizational readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • Proven experience managing projects in a federal consulting environment
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools and software
