About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily scheduling of approximately 8-20+ ROI Specialists to ensure sufficient facility coverage
- Act as liaison between MRO and client management staff
- Ensure ROI activities comply with clinic policies, federal and state regulations, and are completed timely
- Travel to locations in Houston, Bryan, and Livingston, Texas
- Manage workflow among on-site employees to maximize productivity and quality standards
- Adjust work assignments to cover peak periods, leave, vacancies, backlogs, illness, and vacation
- Prioritize work to complete the ROI function
- Provide coverage when medical record staff are unavailable
- Perform quality assurance monitoring of ROI Specialists’ work
- Conduct productivity and performance reviews in accordance with policies, procedures, and law
- Monitor performance and provide feedback and evaluations
- Monitor and approve paid time off and staff schedules
- Promote customer service and respond to customer needs positively and efficiently
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s and/or Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration or health related field or equivalent experience is preferred
- 1 years supervisory/management experience in acute care setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards required
- Excellence in written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required
- Ability to travel 50%
- Ability to travel by car and air and mobilize throughout multiple sites
- Ability to stand, sit, and lift up to 20 pounds
