About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage daily scheduling of approximately 8–20+ ROI Specialists
  • Liaise between MRO and client management staff
  • Ensure ROI activities comply with clinic policies, federal and state regulations, and timelines
  • Manage workflow among on-site employees to maximize productivity and quality
  • Adjust work assignments to cover peak periods, leave, vacancies, and staffed hospital sites
  • Provide coverage during backlogs, illness, vacation, or leave of absence
  • Perform quality assurance monitoring of ROI Specialists’ work
  • Conduct productivity and work performance reviews
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback and evaluations
  • Monitor and approve paid time off and staff schedules
  • Promote customer service and respond to patient, coworker, and medical center personnel needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1 years supervisory/management experience in acute care setting
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards required
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Travel by car and air and ability to mobilize throughout multiple sites
  • Ability to stand, sit, and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Bachelor’s and/or Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration or health related field or equivalent experience is preferred
