About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of AI Product and Software Development Lifecycle programmes and initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with agreed outcomes, timelines, quality standards and investment objectives
  • Shape portfolio plans, governance and roadmap priorities
  • Manage risks, dependencies and critical delivery activities across interconnected programmes
  • Deliver data-driven reporting on portfolio performance, progress, risks and investment tracking
  • Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering and Business teams to build alignment and resolve challenges
  • Develop and support Technical Programme Managers
  • Champion continuous improvement and delivery excellence across the portfolio
  • Establish clear governance, integrated planning, financial and benefits control, and executive-level reporting
  • Align senior stakeholders and hold delivery groups accountable for measurable outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience delivering complex technology programmes across multiple teams, stakeholders and priorities
  • Experience in programme and portfolio management, including planning, governance, dependency management and risk management
  • Comfortable working in evolving environments and creating structure, clarity and focus
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders through clear communication, collaboration and insight
  • Experience leading, coaching or supporting delivery teams
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong execution and attention to detail
