About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Orders applications and workflows
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, and system issues
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities
  • Support order entry workflows and related clinical decision support functionality
  • Review and manage worklists and operational queues within Epic applications
  • Assist with workflow support and issue resolution involving Radiant and Cupid environments
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, testing scripts, and support materials
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend system enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency
  • Report to the Director, Epic Systems - Acute Care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Epic Orders Certification required
  • Experience supporting Epic Orders applications within a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, order management processes, and Epic application support methodologies
  • Experience with Epic Cupid and/or Epic Radiant good to have but not required
  • Ability to support multiple priorities and effectively manage application-related issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with clinical, operational, and technical teams
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to customer service, continuous learning, and process improvement
  • Availability for a rotating on-call shift
  • Ability to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday
