About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full development life cycle of complex projects requiring integration with other systems
  • Perform analysis, design, programming, testing, integration, implementation and documentation for systems development projects
  • Provide technical leadership for development projects and act as an internal consultant for team members
  • Support new applications and ensure successful operation of existing applications
  • Write maintainable code and develop technical specifications according to user, vendor and business requirements
  • Create test plans, test cases, data and scripts for application upgrades, data conversions and new implementations
  • Analyze functional requirements, systems architecture and applications
  • Plan, coordinate and estimate assigned projects
  • Design program and technical specifications covering data flow, data storage, interface design and system architecture
  • Develop system contingency plans and optimize system and application performance
  • Develop programs interfacing with other applications and databases
  • Execute and coordinate systems, integration and enterprise-wide test plans
  • Plan and coordinate implementation of new systems, enhancements and upgrades to ensure smooth migration from development to production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
  • 5 years of experience in the position offered or related role
  • 5 years of experience building backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
  • 5 years of experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle
  • 1 year of experience building front end applications using JavaScript frameworks including React or JQuery
  • 1 year of experience using cloud services such as AWS or Azure
  • 1 year of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub
  • 1 year of experience using Agile methodologies
