Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as an individual contributor to diverse teams developing and assessing insights and ideas that drive MSK’s strategy
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive strategic decisions
Translate ambiguous business problems into structured questions for hypothesis generation, issue structuring, and insight synthesis
Support execution of the enterprise strategic plan and monitor progress toward strategic goals
Enable communication across the organization
Create executive-ready presentation materials translating complex analyses into clear narratives
Support market position, competitor, and other research analyses
Research evidence-based strategic management methodology for continuous improvement
Guide strategic planning and evaluate high-impact business opportunities
Partner with leaders to identify and execute strategic priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a strategic, consulting, or analytic position
Demonstrated skills in strategy development, strategic planning and/or business development
Strong experience with Excel tools and functions (Pivot Tables, vLookup, etc.)
Experience with SQL or a dashboarding tool (Tableau or PowerBI) a plus
Highly developed leadership facilitation, communication, planning, and presentation skills
Proven ability to take ambiguous information and translate it into high-quality analyses to support enterprise wide decision making
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to engage in strategic thinking, hypothesis development, and high-quality analysis
Curiosity and self-motivation
Proven success making timely decisions
Skilled at building partnerships across all levels of the business and working collaboratively
Effective communication skills
Willingness to act and embrace new challenges
