Key responsibilities & impact

  • Keep searches moving with clear steps, quick decisions, and timely candidate communication
  • Use data and judgment to evaluate talent and make hiring recommendations
  • Provide market insight and share ownership of hiring outcomes with hiring managers
  • Recruit across clinical, research, operations, corporate, shared services, frontline, leadership, volume, and niche roles
  • Learn how MSK’s hospital, clinical teams, research teams, and leaders operate
  • Challenge assumptions and investigate candidate and hiring-manager claims through probing questions
  • Build talent attraction and search strategies
  • Coach hiring managers through unrealistic expectations and align on actionable hiring plans
  • Communicate role realities and nonprofit cancer-center context to candidates
  • Advise on compensation, market positioning, internal equity, candidate expectations, and budget
  • Use Workday, HiredScore, Paradox, Braintrust, AI, and other recruiting tools
  • Participate in and host recruiting-related events across MSK’s NYC sites
  • Present work samples to TA leadership during the interview process

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret market data, compensation, internal equity, competing offers, and budgets

  • Strong storytelling and ability to turn data into actionable narratives
