About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with all work related to HVAC, mechanical, and industrial projects
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade
Operate Victaulic grooving machines, overhead hoists, and general pipe fitting tools
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Communicate clearly with the shop foreman and follow direction
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three years of field pipefitting experience, including soldering, brazing, threading pipe, grooving pipe, installing hangers, and carbon steel pipe up to 24 inches
Must have own hand tools required for the position
Must be able to identify and install pipe grades and systems
Ability to read blueprints
High School graduate or equivalent
Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
Must be able to meet the physical demands, including standing, walking, reaching, gripping, climbing, lifting, and working in very heavy physical demand conditions
Must be able to work in environments involving weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise, electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet or humid conditions, vibration, moving mechanical parts, and elevated work areas
