About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell international capacity and connectivity to MTN OpCos across submarine connectivity, satellite, and terrestrial backhaul products
  • Manage accurate OpCo capacity demand forecasts and share reports with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate capacity purchasing with sourcing and partner management
  • Analyze usage trends and support OpCos in determining international connectivity, reliability, and redundancy needs
  • Manage settlements toward OpCos and support Finance with billing
  • Coordinate delivery of OpCo international capacity needs and project-manage requests
  • Serve as the central contact for OpCo support issues involving submarine cable infrastructure and project-manage fault resolution
  • Analyze global competitive environments and OpCo offers to identify submarine connectivity pricing models
  • Gather terrestrial connectivity pricing for wholesale backhaul and last-mile components
  • Define Bayobab wholesale pricing across subsea and terrestrial segments
  • Support internal wholesale pricing, product development, and pricing for multi-OpCo infrastructure
  • Maintain knowledge of international connectivity systems and architecture, including subsea systems, IP-MPLS, GSM, GPRS, and radio network elements
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships and monitor market trends
  • Ensure solutions comply with SLAs, QoS thresholds, and service metrics such as Jitter and RTT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 4-year academic degree (B.Sc, B.Eng, Engineering / Computer Science)
  • Postgraduate qualification, MBA/Master’s (Economics, Engineering / Computer Science), preferred
  • English; French is an advantage
