Key responsibilities & impact

Understand customer needs and design solutions around customer requirements
Review customer documentation such as RFPs, SOWs, and layouts
Create technical documentation and provide input on equipment and design selection
Communicate solutions through quotes, supporting documentation, and layout assistance
Own project opportunities by managing stakeholders and ensuring bids are delivered on time
Identify and analyze customer requirements and translate them into solution designs aligned with business needs and Mujin's product offering
Complete technical scoping before finalizing proposal expectations
Identify automation requirements through customer discussions
Present company offerings and document outcomes and next steps
Resolve technical issues
Evaluate designs based on cost, value, functionality, requirements, and risks
Provide professional AutoCAD layouts
Analyze customer data and identify and break down system flows
Provide timely responses and follow-up
Prepare product and solution proposal documentation
Support department operating procedures
Create ROM, budgetary, and firm proposal estimates covering material and labor scope
Conduct early technical risk reviews covering layout feasibility, throughput constraints, gripper fit, payload limitations, vision system constraints, software scope, and site-specific constraints
Track known information, missing information, assumptions, dependencies, and blockers
Maintain opportunity records in Salesforce, Wrike, and the company ERP system
Write and present clear, convincing proposals to customers
Develop constructive customer relationships and focus on customer success
Manage multiple sales projects simultaneously
Act as a liaison to other departments and contribute to the sales team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related disciplines
Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
5+ years in a related position
Proven time management, organizational, team collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of Warehouse, Parcel, Automotive, and 3PL systems
Understanding of automation solutions such as conveying, ASRS, goods-to-person, sortation, palletizing, depalletizing, piece picking, automated vehicles, and industrial/collaborative robots
First 3 months in office for onboarding
Travel requirement: 20-30% travel
Ability to work extended hours as required
Warehouse exposure
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
