About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks
- Modify .dxf and .dwg files using DraftSight
- Prepare fabrication packages using Adobe and Excel
- Contribute innovative solutions to complex mechanical and structural design challenges
- Conduct system design and analysis to ensure functionality and performance meet project requirements
- Collaborate with drafting, engineering, and project management teams
- Ensure on-time delivery of all projects
- Design and draft process gas equipment including dampers, expansion joints, ductwork, silencers, stacks, and support towers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural design
- 5 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, focusing on sheet metal components, weldments, and large/complex assemblies with moving parts
- Experience using AutoCAD or DraftSight
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet, dedicated workspace ready for remote work
- Currently residing in the Philippines and legally authorized to work there
- EST working hours
