About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoot or install complex, customized packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities
  • Repair equipment to customer specifications quickly and efficiently
  • Address mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic system challenges

  • Ensure customers understand operational and safety procedures
  • Complete repair documentation and submit trip expenses within 24 hours of job completion
  • Complete weekly expense reports and timesheets accurately and on time
  • Handle expenses cost-effectively
  • Travel to customer facilities with overnight stays required most workdays
  • Work flexible schedules, including 10 consecutive days on/4 consecutive days off or Monday-Friday with one working weekend per month

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot large-scale, complex machinery mechanically, electrically, and operationally
  • Strong electrical and mechanical experience
  • Pneumatic and machine shop skills
  • Ability to use technical drawings
  • Electromechanical knowledge
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Ability to work in high-stress environments
  • Ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations
  • Willingness to travel with little notice
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including some weekends
