About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead an ecosystem strategy for upstream data center technology players
  • Build and maintain senior commercial and technical relationships providing visibility into computing, server, rack, power, and cooling technology roadmaps
  • Monitor trends in processors, accelerators, server architecture, rack density, power consumption, liquid cooling, and thermal management
  • Translate technology trends and partner roadmaps into insights for product strategy, engineering priorities, and innovation planning
  • Connect internal engineering and technical teams with counterpart teams at strategic partners
  • Identify opportunities for early design involvement, joint development, co-development, and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Help position products and solutions for commercialization of next-generation technologies
  • Influence internal planning with forward-looking market intelligence
  • Represent the company at industry events, consortiums, standards groups, and executive meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical or business advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of senior-level business development, strategic partnerships, or market development experience
  • Experience in data center infrastructure, thermal management, cooling, server hardware, semiconductors, chip ecosystems, or digital infrastructure
  • Strong existing network of contacts within chip manufacturers, server manufacturers, OEMs, ODMs, and related technology providers
  • Demonstrated success building relationships leading to strategic partnerships, co-development opportunities, or early access to product/technology roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of how semiconductors and server technology impact data center infrastructure requirements, especially cooling and thermal design
  • Experience working across technical and commercial teams and translating market direction into product strategy
  • Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leaders, engineers, and product teams across multiple organizations
  • Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in international business environments and cross-cultural collaboration preferred
  • Experience working with or selling into hyperscalers, colocation providers, server manufacturers, or semiconductor companies
  • Familiarity with liquid cooling, direct-to-chip, immersion, high-density rack cooling, and related thermal solutions
  • Participation in industry associations, standards bodies, or technical forums relevant to data centers, servers, or advanced computing
  • Proven ability to identify future market requirements before formal customer demand is established
