About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational HR support to leadership teams
- Act as a trusted advisor on employment law, HR best practice, and organizational change
- Guide HR policies, people matters, and HR strategy delivery
- Partner with leaders to drive a high-performance culture and equitable people practices
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinaries, and performance improvement
- Promote an inclusive workplace culture to enhance employee experience and retention
- Ensure consistent application of company policies
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding
- Advise managers on reward, compensation, compliance, HR reporting, and business continuity planning
- Oversee compensation and benefits for market competitiveness and business alignment
- Analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Lead HR projects, change initiatives, and development programmes
- Improve HR processes and systems while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent level HR role
- Strong employee relations experience with ability to handle sensitive matters
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and compliance requirements
- Relevant industry experience including Architecture
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading HR projects and supporting change initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong understanding of Inclusion & Diversity importance, with ability to embed inclusive practices
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and adaptability
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
- Strong listening and communication skills, with ability to influence and engage others effectively
