About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop assigned territory through customer outreach, prospecting, product education, and relationship management to drive new business growth and sales revenue
  • Represent Musco Videoboards and MuscoMAX® through field demonstrations, regional events, customer visits, and industry engagement that generate qualified sales opportunities
  • Own and advance rental and sales opportunities from initial contact through proposal follow-up, customer communication, and deal closure
  • Support customer commitments and broader sales execution by coordinating field activity, product delivery, training, and demonstration readiness
  • Maintain accurate territory, equipment, and customer activity information through planning, documentation, reporting, and communication with internal teams
  • Operate company vehicle, trailer, and demonstration equipment in accordance with safety, DOT, and company requirements while traveling within the assigned region
  • Support additional responsibilities aligned with the role’s purpose, business needs, and demonstrated training and competencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, sales, entrepreneurship, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience required; field sales, territory sales, brand representation, or related customer-facing experience preferred
  • Experience in audiovisual, consumer electronics, mobile products, rental, event, professional installation, or channel sales environments preferred
  • Customer-focused sales approach to build trust, conduct effective demonstrations, manage follow-up, and close new business
  • Technical aptitude to understand audiovisual systems, mobile display products, connectivity, and field setup requirements
  • Strong organization and territory management skills to manage travel, customer activity, equipment readiness, reporting, and follow-through
  • Professional communication and safety-minded judgment when representing Musco, handling equipment and working with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to travel up to 75% or more, including overnight travel, nights and weekends based on customer, event and business needs
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and trailer in varying weather, terrain, and travel conditions while transporting products, displays, or demonstration equipment
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and compliance with DOT safety requirements and company insurance standards
