About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the lead point of contact for internal and external communications and processes after receipt of the purchase order
- Assist the sales representative with pre-sale site visits as needed
- Develop Musco’s scope of work
- Create and evaluate RFQs for subcontractors
- Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of Musco projects
- Process change orders and communicate them to the Musco team
- Manage on-site installation
- Commission lighting systems to verify installation and operation
- Provide customer training on lighting system controls
- Ensure final inspections are completed
- Provide customers with project close-out reports upon completion
- Approve invoice payments and notify the Credit department for final project billing
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of lighting systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Related work experience also considered
- Working knowledge of communication networks
- Willingness to travel globally
- Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction drawings, and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of construction processes and practices
- Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude
- Computer proficiency; Word and Excel necessary
- Basic AutoCAD skills beneficial
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility and tolerance for change
- Willingness to travel weekly to remote project locations with overnight stays averaging 2–4 nights per week
- Planning for approximately 130–150 travel days per year
- Energetic and enjoys working with people
- High standard of professionalism

- Typical overnight travel of 60%–70%
