Regional Hub Technician
Musco Lighting. Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty products .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty products
- Complete warranty repairs on lighting projects using ladders, aerial lifts, and climbing equipment
- Coordinate project schedules with customers, vendors, equipment, and personnel resources
- Communicate daily work duties and schedules with the Warranty Hub Manager
- Safely operate and inspect Musco aerial equipment
- Provide detailed written field reports and complete required paperwork
- Package and ship RMA-related Musco part returns for evaluation and testing
- Provide leadership to crews and coordinate project issues with vendors and customers
- Drive and operate Musco equipment on service projects
- Make daily expense-related financial decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-high school education (trade school or degree) in mechanical or electrical trades or equivalent experience preferred
- Electrical license or ability to obtain an electrical license preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a driver's license required
- Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred
- Basic electrical and mechanical skills and experience
- Excellent technical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
- Strong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervision
- Basic computer, email, and internet skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology
- Compliance with Federal DOT rules and regulations, including drug and alcohol testing
- Pre-employment physical and background check
- Extensive daily travel within the U.S. and, at times, abroad
- Ability to work alone or on a team
- Ability to work weekends, nights, long and irregular hours when required
- Ability to work in heat, cold, and rain
- Ability to service lighting poles or structures 40–120 feet tall using aerial lifts or approved fall protection equipment
