About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Meet monthly and annual sales quotas designated by the manager
Visit customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell the Company’s products
Coordinate with the accounting department to assure timely collection of payments
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport
Respond to and communicate with all customers in a timely manner
Coordinate urgent deliveries with customers to accommodate their needs
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them
Input and update orders within the Company database
Maintain and safely navigate the Company vehicle according to the Company Vehicle Policy
Participate in weekly sales meetings
Attend semiannual inventory counts, possibly on a weekend
Attend Company events and functions outside normal working hours
Answer to management as requested
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Business level English- Read/write/speak/listen
Business level Korean required- Read/write/speak/listen; Native Level Korean preferred
Business level Japanese preferred
Has and maintains a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours
Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking
Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Able to use the phone for extended periods of time
Passes the Sake Adviser course within 1 year of employment
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree and above preferred
2+ years of Food and/or Sales experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Knowledge of ERP systems, especially AS400, highly preferred
Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
