About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify business needs, opportunities, and areas for improvement with the Chief Strategy Officer and business leaders
Translate business objectives and operational challenges into business requirements and practical solutions
Analyze processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of business solutions
Serve as a business subject-matter resource for strategic initiatives and technology projects
Work within Cognition to identify issues, develop requirements, and support system improvements
Assess upstream and downstream impacts of changes in Cognition and connected systems
Contribute to the evolution of MutualONE’s underwriting architecture, including ARS and the BMS
Analyze information movement between ARS, the BMS, Cognition, and supporting systems
Identify system gaps and inconsistencies and work with IT and vendors on solutions
Review proposed system changes from business and underwriting perspectives
Document system interactions, workflows, and business requirements
Provide Agents with training, Q&A support, and guidance
Develop and maintain agent training materials and reference guides
Gather agent feedback and translate recurring issues into improvements
Review, document, simplify, standardize, automate, and improve business processes
Facilitate current-state process discussions and develop future-state solutions
Monitor implemented solutions and recommend further improvements

What you’ll need

Experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and language requirements are not explicitly stated
Ability to work across business strategy, underwriting, claims, agents, information technology, and external technology partners
Ability to work within Cognition, MutualONE’s primary policy administration and business system
Ability to analyze integrations among ARS, the BMS, Cognition, and other supporting systems
