About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain an overview of all projects and manage a central timeline covering the marketplace, the product for commercial shippers, integrations, and partner projects
Update statuses, milestones, outstanding decisions, and risks
Proactively gather and follow up on status updates
Identify and escalate dependencies and schedule risks across Tech, Marketing, Operations, and external partners
Plan and support product, feature, and partner-project launches as well as pilots
Create and improve checklists
Serve as the interface between the CTO and ongoing projects
Assess technical implications in customer and partner discussions and formulate relevant follow-up questions
Coordinate cycles, check-ins, reviews, and visible progress
Prepare and follow up on cross-project meetings, including agendas, materials, outcomes, and action items
Document decisions
Manage collaboration with agencies, pilot partners, and service providers
Standardize recurring processes using templates and checklists
Use AI for status reports, meeting minutes, research, and documentation, and review the results
Work on a digital transportation marketplace that connects drivers with available cargo capacity to people and businesses that need transportation services

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least two years of experience in project or program management
Ideally, experience in a startup, agency, or digital product environment
You have successfully delivered a project involving multiple stakeholders and a firm deadline without doing the subject-matter work yourself
Familiarity with digital products
Ability to understand complex relationships and make a high-level assessment of what a request entails
Critical thinking and willingness to challenge assumptions about user understanding and market performance
Willingness to ask questions repeatedly, even when it is uncomfortable
Courage to raise mistakes or concerns, including with founders
Ability to deliver on commitments by the agreed deadline or renegotiate them in advance
Independent, proactive working style
Excellent German and good English
Willingness to work in an English-speaking development team
No in-depth technical knowledge required
No specific university degree required; “Driven people > Degrees”
