About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all special deposit program offerings and serve as the subject matter expert on their daily operations
  • Manage relationships with vendors supporting special deposit initiatives
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management to address red flags or anomalies identified during account opening and screening
  • Conduct customer screenings and due diligence checks to identify potential risks, unusual activity, or red flags
  • Ensure required customer information and supporting documentation are captured for new and existing deposit program customers experiencing a triggering event or material change
  • Maintain accurate records of customer screening results and CIP verification processes while ensuring compliance, data privacy, and confidentiality
  • Identify and modify procedures and process maps to improve service levels and operational efficiency
  • Work with Account Managers to address or remediate action items
  • Complete required training and seek additional relevant training opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in the financial services industry
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and analyze large amounts of data and quickly spot irregularities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and various software applications, databases, and screening tools
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to apply common sense, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees
  • Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
  • Ability to learn, comprehend, and define new systems and processes
  • Intermediate knowledge and training in Bank/Fintech operations, terminology, products, and services related to retail and commercial account customers
  • General knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations and Bank/Fintech operations policies
