About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the company
  • Collaborate with business managers and decision makers through interviews, observation, and facilitated working sessions to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Participate in strategic meetings to review, evaluate, and propose business solutions
  • Perform program audits, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping
  • Conduct cost benefit analysis projects to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Oversee analysis of business needs for new technology and systems
  • Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
  • Apply problem-solving methodologies to help management teams implement solutions
  • Establish and refine best practices and ensure policies, processes, and procedures are updated and aligned
  • Monitor task completion and project timelines
  • Assist executives in documenting and communicating program performance
  • Conduct risk assessments of company processes and tasks
  • Coordinate with departmental teams to improve operations, streamline processes, and develop implementation plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, change management, project management or a related field OR at least 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a business analyst, technical writer, project manager, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, listen actively, and work closely with program owners to develop acceptable solutions
  • Clear, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook; Visio preferred
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of technology and its use in process improvement and problem-solving
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desired prior experience working with government contracts
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen
  • May be required to pass program-specific requirements such as DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, or flu shot
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel 10%–20%
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to write, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time
  • Ability to sit for prolonged and extended periods of time
