About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee a particular region and/or field offices for an assigned contract
- Manage administrative, technical, operational, contractual, and financial components of the program
- Enforce program changes and disseminate guidance to personnel
- Ensure program-wide compliance with contracts, company policies, procedures, guidance, laws, and regulations
- Implement, monitor, and improve the quality control plan and training programs
- Maintain communication with employees, departments, executive management, and high-level agency authorities
- Ensure uniform processes and procedures across program offices
- Conduct weekly supervisor meetings and escalate field concerns
- Manage schedules, staffing, staff utilization, overtime, leave requests, timesheets, and expense reports
- Conduct field-site spot checks for contract compliance
- Evaluate, coach, and take corrective action with Site Supervisors; recommend salary increases
- Interview candidates and support new-hire training
- Identify staffing needs and address employee behavior or performance issues with People Services
- Manage on-site teams including Site Supervisors, Office Administrators, Logistics Specialists, and Transportation Specialists
- Manage multiple projects and provide timely reports to Executive Management
- Recommend SOP updates and assist with policy, guideline, procedure, and best-practice development
- Review employee training status and certifications
- Conduct orientation and on-the-job training for Site Supervisors and Administrative Assistants
- Manage project finances and staff utilization
- Monitor Power BI dashboards and data collection
- Monitor IT system effectiveness and propose improvements to the IT Steering Committee
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience, or more than four years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- At least two years of documented experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, or a similar occupational area
- Management and supervisory experience applicable to the goals and objectives of the requirement and a similar program environment
- Two years’ experience managing employees in a similar program environment
- Strong business relationship-building ability with internal and external customers and employees at all levels
- Ability to leverage technology to manage contract requirements and improve complex processes and procedures
- Ability to collaborate across operational support areas
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Investigative and analytical skills and report writing experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability by mobile phone 24/7/365
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, nights, and flexible or irregular hours
- Frequent travel between offices, within the service area, to meetings and conferences, and regularly within the United States
- Proof of U.S. passport or evidence of being in the process of obtaining one
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Favorable credit check
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
- May need to pass or present position-specific requirements such as DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, or flu shot
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to write, type, and use a telephone system
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
