About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in overseeing all aspects of the Command Center
- Supervise Travel Analysts assigned to different schedules
- Ensure workflows, policies, procedures, protocols, and fiscal accountability are performed and enforced
- Verify and confirm scheduled trips and reports are executed accurately and timely
- Confirm information entered in MVM’s proprietary transport system is correct
- Notify stakeholders of scheduled transports
- Implement and enforce company and client policies and procedures
- Communicate policy and program changes to the team and disseminate guidance
- Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, applicable laws, and regulations
- Maintain communication with field managers, staff, the Customer, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Review travel requests and coordinate travel workflows
- Create ground transportation routes and maximize air travel
- Communicate with management and clients, provide updates, and escalate issues
- Review and respond to Command Center emails
- Assign available staff to trips, maximize staffing, and manage overtime
- Review staff utilization reports and elevate staffing issues
- Monitor travel information that may cause delays or prevent flight connections
- Adjust and close case work orders daily
- Manage multiple projects, prepare reports, and update the company database
- Ensure compliance with quality control, training, and contractual requirements
- Review daily reports and reconcile inventory and reports with work orders
- Create monthly work schedules for management approval
- Monitor time, attendance, work output, technical performance, and productivity
- Provide technical leadership, support, guidance, and coaching to the team
- Address inappropriate employee behavior and performance issues with Command Center Managers
- Assist with employee training, orientations, on-the-job training, and evaluations
- Work as a Travel Analyst when operationally required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or an associate’s degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted, or more than 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree
- At least two years of documented experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, or a similar occupational area; higher experience requirements apply when substituting an associate’s degree or no degree
- At least 1 year of experience supervising employees in a 911 dispatch, command center, call center, or similar program environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience applicable to the goals and objectives of the requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources
- Ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks, and work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
- Favorable credit check
- Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen
- May be required to pass position-specific requirements such as a DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, or flu shot
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
