About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define brand architecture across product lines, campaigns, and channels
- Create systems for hierarchy, voice, visual rules, and their application
- Lead the account’s creative team and manage two to four designers
- Set creative direction, review work, provide feedback, and own the quality of deliverables
- Present brand narratives and creative concepts to clients
- Explain concepts, rejected paths, and strategic rationale on client calls
- Own brand and presentation design, including pitch decks, brand site modules, event and booth materials, and campaign concepts
- Maintain brand coherence across ads, decks, and trade show booths
- Drive brand evolution by proactively presenting options
- Connect brand systems and ad output with media and creative strategists
- Partner with the Creative Director on broader agency creative standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Seven or more years in brand design or art direction
- At least two years directing other designers
- Portfolio focused on brand systems, architecture, and presentation work
- Experience presenting work to clients and defending creative decisions under pressure
- Ability to write a brand narrative
- Fluent in Figma and the Adobe suite
- Experience with premium, luxury, or high AOV DTC brands
- Ability to work effectively remotely, communicate in writing, close loops, and work independently
