About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the growth of a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 public sector employers
  • Expand customer product adoption and convert single-product renewals into platform renewals
  • Build account plans mapping current products, whitespace and the route to the full platform
  • Lead expansion from discovery through business case, proposal and close
  • Position on-demand pay, Auto Savings and new products
  • Drive employee take-up with each employer
  • Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline and forecasts
  • Plan renewals 9–12 months before contract end
  • Negotiate scope, pricing and contract length, and close renewals
  • Interpret public sector procurement and contractual constraints to shape conversion timing and route
  • Monitor account health, identify risks early and protect existing revenue
  • Handle commercial risks including insourcing, budget scrutiny and competitor comparison
  • Act as escalation point for complex account issues
  • Build relationships with budget holders across HR, Payroll, Pensions, Finance and executive teams
  • Turn platform data into commercial stories for C-level stakeholders
  • Represent My Money Matters as the primary commercial contact
  • Collaborate with Sales, Launch, Marketing and Product teams
  • Support employee engagement campaigns and customer case studies
  • Provide customer insight, pilot new products and share best practice internally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record of hitting expansion, upsell or cross-sell targets in an account management or similar commercial role
  • Experience owning renewals, ideally moving customers onto broader or multi-product agreements
  • Experience managing relationships with C-level or senior budget-holder stakeholders
  • Experience working with a high degree of autonomy against commercial targets
  • Experience with complex, regulated or public sector organisations is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS business, ideally in an adjacent sector such as HR, benefits, payroll, financial wellbeing or finance
  • Strong commercial acumen, including identifying opportunities, building business cases, negotiating and closing
  • Consultative and growth-minded approach to positioning multi-product solutions
  • Ability to influence and maintain relationships at C-level and senior budget-holder level
  • Ability to translate product capability into commercial language for senior, non-technical audiences
  • Organised, self-directed and data-literate
  • Ability to work in the UK and answer questions regarding right to work and sponsorship
