About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop the APIs and services powering web and mobile applications
Enhance services for collecting, processing, and making available data from meters, inverters, batteries, and charging stations
Optimize the storage and querying of high-volume time-series data through aggregations, downsampling, and high-performance queries
Contribute to integrations with the information system, including contracts, billing, CRM, and energy supplier and distributor data flows
Ensure the security, traceability, and reliability of delivered services
Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical decisions within the Backend Chapter
Improve application test coverage, CI, and observability
Provide Level 3 support and contribute to operational reliability
Contribute to technical documentation and team skills development
Work across the entire service lifecycle, from functional scoping through production deployment and monitoring in real-world conditions
Collaborate with Product and Design teams within a multidisciplinary squad

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university in computer science or an equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of backend development experience
Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, ORMs, and REST API design
Strong database expertise
Experience with time-series databases (TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, or equivalent) and high-volume data processing is highly valued
Self-directed and detail-oriented
Ability to work effectively in an Agile team environment and communicate with the various stakeholders involved in a product
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
Bonus: experience in an IoT or real-time environment
Bonus: interest in the energy sector
Bonus: knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS
