About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and ensure the reliability of accounting and financial reporting for the French entities
Manage daily cash flow and maintain a 12-month cash flow forecast
Coordinate external accounting firms for the European entities in Spain, Switzerland, and Romania
Supervise general and subledger accounting for the three French entities
Lead monthly and annual closing processes, including fast closes
Ensure the reliability of closing files and accelerate monthly reporting
Optimize the organization and processes of the Finance team
Supervise tax, VAT, other taxes, and statutory obligations
Maintain internal controls, procedures, and data quality
Serve as the Finance subject-matter expert for Navision, Yooz, Kyriba, and Lucanet
Drive tool enhancements, automation, and Excel macros
Act as the Finance point of contact for business teams
Manage a team of three accountants on a day-to-day basis and support their professional development
Report to Xavier, Group CFO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management (business school, Master CCA, DSCG, or equivalent)
10 to 15 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting environment
Experience in a multi-site company, international group, or accounting/audit firm followed by in-house experience
Significant team management experience
Excellent command of French accounting and tax fundamentals
Experience with fast closes and preparing robust audit and review files
Knowledge of multi-entity environments
Proficiency with financial tools: ERP systems; Navision preferred; document digitization tools such as Yooz; and treasury management systems such as Kyriba
Excellent Excel skills
Professional proficiency in English
