About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and evolve MYOB’s payer-facing experiences
- Work across services supporting the online invoice lifecycle and payment processing
- Deliver intuitive, secure, and reliable customer experiences
- Support payments, invoicing, and related money-movement workflows
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers
- Improve development and DevOps practices
- Strengthen customer experiences
- Build hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies
- Enable customers to manage payments, invoicing, and money movement within MYOB products
- Help the team define, refine, and achieve a technical vision
- Facilitate knowledge flow between development teams and the broader MYOB technology community
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong programming skills across Java or Kotlin, NodeJS, TypeScript, modern React, and Spring Boot
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor (Claude agent), Codex, or Copilot
- Practical experience with AWS or Azure
- Experience with Docker containerisation
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative Agile environment
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs
- Strong dedication to delivering high-quality software regularly
- Ability to help define, refine, and incrementally achieve a technical vision
- Ability to communicate knowledge between development teams and the broader MYOB technology community
