About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and grow Product Managers and Domain Experts through coaching and capability development
- Connect business strategy to delivery through clear product priorities and roadmaps
- Use AI meaningfully, encourage experimentation and embed AI-native ways of working across Practice
- Lead through complexity across established and cloud products
- Simplify the product portfolio where appropriate and make investment decisions
- Partner with Design, Technology, Product Marketing, Sales, Support and senior leaders
- Shape the future direction of MYOB Practice
- Build a connected platform combining ledger, tax and practice management products, partnerships and integrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading and coaching product teams
- Track record of developing Product Managers and lifting team capability
- Strong software product experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment
- Ability to connect business strategy, product strategy and delivery across multiple teams
- Judgement to make hard prioritisation calls
- Confidence explaining and holding trade-offs with senior leaders
- Advanced use of AI for research, analysis, prototyping and building
- Ability to demonstrate how AI has changed team operations
- Experience leading teams through change, ambiguity or transformation
- Strong stakeholder skills
- Credibility to influence senior leaders while empowering others
- Experience in accounting or professional services software is a bonus, not a requirement
