About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build full-stack solutions across customer onboarding and verification
- Develop services supporting KYC, KYB, risk assessment and application approval processes
- Integrate automated workflows with manual operational review processes
- Work with activation, invoicing and payment processing teams to create a connected customer journey
- Contribute to the team’s migration to Microsoft Azure
- Use AI-assisted development practices and help evolve AI across the product development lifecycle
- Improve engineering quality through automated testing, TDD and CI/CD practices
- Support engineers through technical guidance, pairing and constructive code reviews
- Build reliable, secure and scalable solutions for MYOB’s payment products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong commercial software development experience, ideally at Senior Developer level
- Full-stack development capability across modern frontend and backend technologies
- Experience with Kotlin or Java on the backend
- Experience with React on the frontend
- Exposure to Node.js would be valuable
- Experience designing and operating cloud-based applications, ideally using Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of automated testing, TDD and CI/CD practices
- Confidence working across integrations, distributed systems and complex business workflows
- Interest in AI-assisted engineering and modern development practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across engineering, product and operational teams
