About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design scalable infrastructure solutions across data centers, virtualization, cloud, and networking
- Develop detailed architectures, client proposals, architectural diagrams, and statements of work
- Ensure solutions align with industry standards and compliance requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and IT standards
- Lead client discovery sessions, assess environments, and present tailored infrastructure solutions
- Maintain client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor
- Support sales teams with technical expertise for proposals, bills of materials, and RFP responses
- Assist with POC/POV development and solution demonstrations
- Provide cross-technology guidance for holistic and optimized designs
- Stay current on emerging technologies, optimization, and automation
- Deliver innovative, reliable solutions and exceptional client experiences
- Complete security awareness training and comply with company policies
- Identify and escalate security risks and contribute to remediation efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, data center operations, or network architecture
- Must be based in the United States
- Proven expertise with network and data center technologies across leading manufacturers, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell, HPE, VMware, and Pure
- Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible
- Familiarity with infrastructure management tools, including VMs, OOB management, and VPN
- Strong technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent time management, communication, and technical documentation skills
- Commitment to completing ongoing security awareness training and adhering to company policies
