About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions
Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and internal teams
Develop scalable cybersecurity architectures for Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection
Lead cybersecurity best-practice and innovation initiatives
Prepare and maintain client proposals, architectural diagrams, and statements of work
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security strategies with business objectives and IT frameworks
Support sales teams with strategic proposals, BOMs, technical narratives, client presentations, and RFP responses
Conduct discovery sessions, assess client environments, and present tailored cybersecurity solutions
Complete security awareness training and comply with company policies
Identify and escalate security risks and contribute to remediation efforts
Understand client needs and partner with Account Executives
Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and explain market dynamics and best practices
Develop enablement resources and guide vendor selection and strategic decisions
Oversee BOMs, product evaluations, solution narratives, and high-level architectures
Provide strategic guidance for cybersecurity design and implementation
Advance knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks
Deliver innovative, reliable cybersecurity solutions and exceptional client experiences
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10 years of experience in network engineering and security
Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture, engineering, and strategy across diverse environments
Must have experience working with at least one of: Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks
Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly preferred
Deep expertise in NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
Ability to facilitate high-level discussions, drive stakeholder consensus, and lead collaborative security solutions
Experience engaging leaders and key stakeholders to align security needs with business objectives
Significant experience building and maintaining client relationships
Time management and project management skills, including managing large-scale security projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and present technical documentation, security policies, and architectural diagrams
Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity and advanced knowledge in cloud security, network security, or application security
Familiarity with threat modeling, incident response, and security monitoring solutions
Knowledge of multi-vendor security environments and complex integration and compliance challenges
Advanced understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, EDR, and XDR
Commitment to ongoing professional development and security awareness training
Willingness to take on additional leadership responsibilities and mentor team members
Must be based in the United States
