About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the functional design authority for Oracle Fusion Product Lifecycle Management and Quality Management within an enterprise Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM transformation
- Own functional design and configuration of product master data, item governance, engineering change, product structures, configuration control, inspections, nonconformance, corrective action, supplier quality, and product traceability
- Translate approved federal compliance, controlled-data, and export-control requirements into PLM and Quality processes and system controls
- Collaborate with Federal Compliance, Legal, Security, Export Compliance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams
- Configure item classes, product attributes, catalogs, numbering schemes, lifecycle phases, item statuses, and item organizations
- Define product master governance, data-quality standards, approval workflows, and controlled technical attribute governance
- Define system-of-record responsibilities between Oracle Fusion and engineering PLM platforms
- Determine authoring, approval, maintenance, release, integration, and synchronization responsibilities for product data
- Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend process or complementary-system solutions
- Design EBOM-to-MBOM transformation, engineering-to-manufacturing release, engineering change workflows, approvals, effectivity controls, and implementation processes
- Establish as-designed, as-planned, and as-built product traceability
- Configure inspection plans, nonconformance, corrective action, supplier quality, specifications, sampling, results collection, dispositions, approvals, and escalations
- Establish lot and serial genealogy for traceability, investigations, recalls, and audits
- Define controlled technical data classification, access requirements, data flows, marking, retention, revision control, approval, and audit evidence
- Translate CUI, FCI, ITAR/EAR, DFARS, and NIST SP 800-171 requirements into PLM and Quality functional controls
- Define Segregation of Duties requirements
- Develop and execute functional test scenarios
- Validate restricted and unrestricted access requirements with security teams
- Support data conversion, BOM validation, engineering-change conversion, quality-record migration, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- Own PLM and Quality design documentation, configuration traceability, and controlled-technical-data test evidence
- Support go-live readiness and functional sign-off
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle SCM, PLM, Product Hub, or Quality solutions, including at least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations
- Hands-on experience with product master data, BOMs, engineering change, configuration management, and engineering-to-manufacturing processes
- Experience designing and implementing quality processes within ISO 9001, AS9100, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with Teamcenter, Windchill, or ENOVIA, including definition of system-of-record responsibilities
- Experience designing lot and serial traceability, inspection, nonconformance, corrective action, and/or supplier quality processes
- Working knowledge of role-based access control, Segregation of Duties, controlled technical data, and export-control access requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Hub, Product Development, and/or Quality Management
- Strong understanding of product master data, item governance, item classes, product structures, BOMs, specifications, and lifecycle controls
- Expertise in EBOM-to-MBOM transformation, engineering change management, effectivity, configuration management, and engineering-to-manufacturing release
- Strong understanding of as-designed, as-planned, and as-built configuration traceability
- Knowledge of inspection planning, nonconformance, corrective action, supplier quality, lot and serial genealogy, and quality traceability
- Working knowledge of CUI, FCI, ITAR/EAR, DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, and controlled technical data requirements
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, counterfeit-parts prevention, and regulated manufacturing quality practices
- Understanding of role-based access control and Segregation of Duties principles
- Strong fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
- Preferred: Oracle Fusion Product Development, Product Hub, Innovation Management, and/or Quality Management experience; Oracle Government Cloud or FedRAMP experience; defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated-environment experience; CUI, FCI, ITAR-controlled data experience; familiarity with CMMC, DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, AS9100, AS9102, and counterfeit-parts prevention; current Oracle certification
