About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the company’s sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service
  • Maintain quality relations with existing accounts
  • Provide sales and marketing coverage within assigned territory and accounts
  • Proactively identify, develop, and pursue new opportunities
  • Maintain a consistent prospecting cadence to support pipeline growth, customer expansion, and individual and team sales goals
  • Develop maximum sales potential from assigned territory using competitive sales techniques and product, service, and competitor knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned accounts and increase account base and sales volume
  • Contact customers by telephone, correspondence, or in person, traveling as necessary to meet sales goals
  • Reevaluate work continuously to increase market share
  • Create customized proposals to meet customer requirements
  • Stay current on market conditions, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies
  • Utilize company leads to expand the customer base and promptly follow up on leads
  • Maintain updated, organized account files
  • Provide customer information and follow-up as requested
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to develop technology acumen
  • Experience working with MS Office applications, including Word & Excel
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to multi-task and self-manage priorities
  • Ability to make and coordinate sales calls with potential customers
  • Ability to find, develop, and close business
  • Strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Ability to develop and manage positive customer relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Security clearance: None required
  • Maximum expected travel: 20%
