About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality project delivery for Technology Initiatives
- Manage interdependencies between initiatives and activities across Technology Domains
- Manage costs and finances within budget, identify savings, and drive down technology operating and support costs
- Identify, monitor, and control risks to support sustainable business and customer outcomes and reduce technical debt and security vulnerabilities
- Prepare estimations and forecasts for Quarterly Planning Sessions
- Conduct regular project meetings and updates
- Provide progress reports when required
- Report to the Head of Portfolio
- Deliver cost-effective, high-quality project work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience and expertise in planning and delivery of major IT projects, including solving complex problems
- Experience in financial management, estimating and investment planning for major upgrades and changes to IT systems and infrastructure
- Ability to confidently present to senior stakeholders
- Proven knowledge and experience with Agile delivery planning and management methodologies, systems and approaches
- Understanding of the delivery process in an agile, product-focused delivery domain
- Background in projects related to operating system upgrades, vulnerability remediation, work spanning multiple domains/teams, and high-profile stakeholder reporting
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two flexible days
