About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop expertise in each target platform's extension model, including APIs, webhooks, UI surfaces, authentication model, app review process, and limitations
- Design secure, clear, buildable verification flows within target-platform constraints
- Make integration design decisions such as embedded versus redirect and synchronous versus asynchronous flows
- Identify integration constraints early
- Research target products, market position, and customer workflows
- Define Nametag-side APIs, target-side calls, deployment, and configuration models
- Produce API designs, integration specifications, and build milestones for Engineering
- Partner with Design on admin console and setup experiences
- Write customer-facing setup and administration documentation or source material
- Prioritize the integration roadmap using customer demand, sales signals, and partnership context
- Own marketplace and listing paths, including business and technical requirements
- Track launches, adoption, and learnings for future integrations
- Work with Engineering through build and launch
- Partner with Go-to-Market on positioning, enablement, and enterprise sales conversations
- Work with Partnerships to unlock listings and co-selling
- Use agent tooling to accelerate research, specification writing, and documentation
- Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows and improve the shared integration playbook
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future need for visa sponsorship
- 4+ years in technical product management, solutions architecture, platform/partner engineering, or a similar role where you owned integration design
- Demonstrated experience integrating into third-party enterprise platforms — ITSM, HRIS, ATS, IdP, collaboration, or similar — including at least one taken through a marketplace or app review process
- Ability to read API documentation critically, design an authentication flow, write an engineering-ready specification, and recognize platform limitations
- Track record of working within constraints that cannot be changed and finding workable designs
- Strong written communication
- Comfort with ambiguity and owning a domain end to end at startup pace
- Fluency with AI tooling in real work and judgment about its appropriate use
