About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, manage, update, and maintain Knowledge Management systems, including SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites
  • Advise the Government on effective use of Knowledge Management tools
  • Enhance information sharing for analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other documents
  • Train system users, including IC partners, and provide user guides as needed
  • Integrate information with other databases as required
  • Use automated tools and visualizations to facilitate access to and analysis of information holdings
  • Employ tools for unique office needs, including interoperability and information sharing with IC or state and local partners
  • Create and maintain virtual communities of interest for collaboration, information storage, search, discovery, lessons learned, and best practices
  • Report and track metrics assessing progress against programs, policies, and strategies
  • Develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels
  • Identify opportunities to improve information exchanges across systems, Government, and private sectors
  • Maintain and update a customer-wide repository for instructions, Internal Process Documents, and policy memoranda
  • Build data repositories that automatically generate visualizations for analysis, reporting, and briefings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • All applicants must be a US Citizen
  • All candidates must possess an active TS/SCI w/CI poly clearance; no clearance upgrades
  • Minimum of BA/BS and 18 years of relevant experience, or 10 years with a Masters degree, or no degree and 24 years of relevant experience
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required
  • Company will not provide sponsorship
  • Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management processes and methodologies, including organizational studies and evaluations, system design and procedures, work simplification and measurement studies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience preparing operations and procedures manuals
  • Working knowledge of quality control/testing for web features displaying content
  • Excellent process-oriented organizational skills
  • Demonstrated open communication and effective collaboration with team members and supervisors
  • Required knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience with Joomla, WordPress, and SharePoint
