About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support NAOVI's systems engineering task
- Create and review System Security Plans and Body of Evidence documentation
- Perform and support Assessment and Authorization processes
- Develop System Security Plans
- Set up, configure, and optimize systems and system architecture
- Develop REST Web services, web applications, and software using Java and Oracle PL/SQL
- Design, develop, implement, and integrate IA and security systems and components
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Work with network engineers, data scientists, government personnel, and agency representatives
- Execute tasks and configure a standalone HPC system
- Maintain A&A accreditation compliance and current Authority to Operate status
- Create and update Configuration Management Plan, Data Management Plan, CONOPS, and other required artifacts
- Monitor and update system status in an RMF tool
- Coordinate technical security assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Create visualization specifications for system monitoring and system metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must currently possess an active TS/SCI with full-scope (FS) polygraph
- No clearance sponsorships available
- Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing System Security Plans or Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation
- Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes
- Demonstrated experience developing System Security Plans
- Demonstrated experience with system architecture, including hands-on setup, configuration, and optimization of systems
- Desired: experience developing REST Web services
- Desired: familiarity with Red Hat, CentOS, or Rocky
- Desired: web application development experience
- Desired: experience designing, developing, implementing, or integrating IA and security systems and components for networking, virtualization, cloud, and enclave environments with differing data protection requirements
- Desired: experience using Java and Oracle PL/SQL
- Desired: experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Desired: experience working with the agency's system architecture, including hands-on setup, configuration, and optimization
- Active relevant certifications
- Cloud certification(s)
- Experience working with network engineers, data scientists, and government personnel
- Experience executing tasks, implementation, documentation, and configuration of a standalone HPC system with the government agency
- Experience maintaining A&A accreditation compliance
- Experience creating visualization specifications for system monitoring and system metrics
- Experience creating, documenting, and updating Configuration Management Plan, Data Management Plan, and CONOPS artifacts
- Experience advising and assisting with System Security Plan development
- Experience monitoring, tracking, and updating system status in an RMF tool
- Experience coordinating technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and IA standards/regulatory non-compliance and recommend mitigation strategies
- Experience maintaining an HPC system's current ATO status with relevant technical and security points of contact
