About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product positioning and the core messaging framework for Zenith
  • Translate complex genomic science into clear value propositions for clinicians, genetic counselors, and health systems
  • Lead development of sales and customer-facing assets, claims library, and MLR/compliance review workflow
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on the rare disease genomics landscape
  • Convert publications, real-world data, and utilization insights into messaging and field tools
  • Own the product marketing workstream of the Zenith launch plan
  • Design and run sales onboarding, training, and ongoing education
  • Map and improve the customer journey from first call to routine ordering, including implementation, EMR integration, and utilization resources
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing partner to Sales leadership and run field feedback loops
  • Partner with Market Access and Reimbursement on field-ready tools and messaging
  • Define customer segments and account prioritization using clinical, claims, and market data
  • Define KPIs tracking funnel health, ordering behavior, and adoption
  • Represent the Rare Disease BU to Commercial Operations regarding CRM, reporting, forecasting, and ordering workflow
  • Coordinate with clinical community marketing on KOLs, conferences, speaker programs, and integrated planning
  • Collaborate across Sales, Medical Affairs, Product, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, and Legal
  • Manage assigned budgets and agency/vendor partners
  • Build the business case and hire additional capacity as the business scales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing required; MBA, MPH, or advanced scientific degree preferred
  • 8+ years of commercial experience in diagnostics, genomics, or life sciences, including product marketing, sales enablement, commercial strategy, or sales operations
  • Demonstrated success supporting or leading product launches in a complex clinical diagnostics or specialty setting
  • Experience in genomics, rare disease, or precision diagnostics strongly preferred
  • Experience partnering directly with a field sales organization, including training, tools, and CRM / analytics
  • Experience managing or developing a team is a plus
  • Ability to learn and distill complex clinical and genomic data into compelling, compliant narratives for HCPs and field teams
  • Comfort interpreting segmentation, funnel, and commercial performance data
  • Track record of building scalable commercial processes, enablement programs, and cross-functional workflows
  • Working understanding of diagnostic reimbursement, LDT considerations, and payer dynamics
  • Ability to operate where market data is limited and the playbook is still being written
  • Ability to influence without authority and build partnerships with clinical and scientific experts
