About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the product vision, roadmap, sprint planning, and backlog for Oracle Fusion Financials
  • Own all Oracle Fusion Finance net-new initiatives from design through go-live
  • Act as primary point of contact for the Controller, senior Finance leadership, and accounting teams
  • Govern the offshore managed service partner responsible for Finance KTLO support
  • Perform hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials configuration and system changes
  • Lead testing, training, documentation, quarterly upgrades, release readiness, and production stability
  • Own consolidation and intercompany elimination solution analysis, design, and delivery
  • Implement and optimize Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
  • Implement and sustain Oracle Fusion Project Accounting and Lease Accounting
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, SOX walkthroughs, audit PBC documentation, controls, and remediation
  • Design and deliver AI and intelligent automation across Finance processes
  • Collaborate with integration and engineering teams on adjacent Finance applications including Concur, Workday, Blackline, Workiva, and Adaptive
  • Deliver Finance dashboards, KPIs, and insights using BIP/OTBI or BI/Analytics partnerships
  • Ensure Oracle Fusion configuration supports SOX-compliant controls, segregation of duties, and audit traceability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience owning/supporting Finance ERP platforms within IS&T/IT with Oracle ERP implementation expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials functional configuration, data analysis and reporting (BIP/OTBI), testing, and production support
  • Deep practical knowledge of Record-to-Report, Close, Billing, Revenue, Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A
  • Hands-on experience with Consolidations & Eliminations within Oracle Fusion
  • Finance and accounting foundation through CPA, CMA, or direct GL/AP/AR/close/audit experience strongly preferred
  • Offshore MSP management experience
  • Ability to present, influence, and partner directly with Controllers, VPs of Finance, and senior accounting leadership
  • Experience utilizing AI capabilities in transforming Finance operations
  • Direct experience integrating and governing best-of-breed Finance applications
  • Strong financial and analytical expertise and deep knowledge of Oracle Finance core data structures
  • Strong SOX, audit, and regulated-environment experience
  • Experience in aggressive, high-velocity environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong project/program management skills and Agile/iterative delivery experience
  • Preferred: Big 4 or Tier-1 consulting experience, Oracle Fusion ERP/Financials certifications, Project Accounting or Lease Accounting implementation experience, M&A/integration/rapid-scale experience, and life sciences, diagnostics, or medical device industry experience
