About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the dedicated advocate and primary point of contact for patients undergoing Organ Health genetic testing
- Assess patient needs, coordinate logistics, provide customer support, and solve problems
- Set expectations for sample collection scheduling, turnaround time, billing, and next steps
- Respond to patient-generated marketing leads and conduct outbound outreach for identification and monitoring programs
- Triage and escalate complex issues to cross-functional partners including MP, Organ Health Specialists, Territory Managers, Customer Experience, and Billing Teams
- Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage
- Maintain service-oriented patient relationships
- Address organizational data and analysis requests in a timely manner
- Identify, nurture, and grow patient relationships to influence and schedule ongoing testing
- Handle PHI in paper and electronic forms while complying with HIPAA requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of Call Center experience in an inbound and outbound capacity, patient services, or healthcare customer support role.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Background in medical or biological sciences preferred
- Genuine empathy and compassion; strong active listening and rapport-building skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Competitive analysis skills
- Ability to relate and educate potential patients about Natera technology
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to act with a sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal organizational and communication skills
- Must adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and verify patient identity on every interaction
- Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire
- Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements
